THE WORD REPENTANCE IS TESHUVAH IN HEBREW.
TO RETURN
TO TURN BACK
TO STOP SINNING.. TO ABANDON SIN.
BIBLICAL REPENTANCE IS RECOGNIZING THE SIN AND STOPPING FROM DOING IT.
EZEKIEL 18
THEREFORE I WILL JUDGE YOU. O HOUSE OF ISRAEL EVERY ONE ACCORDING TO HIS WAYS, DECLARES THE LORD, GOD. REPENT AND TURN FROM ALL YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS. LEST INQUITY BE YOUR RUIN. CAST AWAY FROM ALL YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS THAT YOU HAVE COMMITTED AND MAKE YOURSELVES A NEW HEART. AND A NEW SPIRIT. WHY WILL YOU DIE O HOUSE OF ISRAEL? FOR I HAVE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF ANYONE., DECLARES THE LORD O' GOD. SO TURN AND LIVE.
Eze 18:5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

Deu 30:1 And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,
Deu 30:2 And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;
Deu 30:3 That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee

REPENTANCE LEADS TO RESTORATION.
REPENTENCE BRINGS FORGIVENESS.
REPENTENCE BRINGS LIFE.
