I SPENT THE SABBATH AT MY FRIENDS HOUSE AND RELAXING.  

I WORKED EVERYDAY AFTER THE HURRICANE, TRYING TO HELP THE GROCERY STORE THAT I WORK AT.  

MY FRIEND HAD A FLAGPOLE THAT WAS IN HER YARD BEFORE THE HURRICANE, AND DURING THE HURRICANE, IT WAS KNOCKED DOWN AND WAS SWINGING BACK AND FORTH IN HER FRONT YARD AND ALMOST HIT HER LIVING ROOM BAY WINDOW.  BUT THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENED FROM GOD.  TWO LIMBS FELL FROM THE TREES IN THE YARD AND KEPT THE FLAGPOLE DOWN AND STOPPED IT FROM MOVING AROUND AND HITTING THE WINDOW.  SHE TOOK A PICTURE OF THE TWO BRANCHES THAT WERE SITTING ON TOP OF THE FLAGPOLE!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT THE WAY THAT THEY LANDED IS A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE.... GOD IS REAL... DO YOU SEE IT??? 

GOD GIVES US MESSAGES, SIGNS AND WONDERS, ITS JUST A MATTER OF SEEING THEM AND ACKNOWLEDGING THEM.  GOD IS REAL!! PEOPLE NEED TO OPEN THEIR BIBLES AND CHANGE THEIR LIVES. WE HAVE TO DO THE FOOTWORK, AND LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT HE'S REAL... 

HURRICANE IAN / GOD IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

 WELL WE MADE IT THROUGH THE HURRICANE, HOUSE AND ALL. 

WE ONLY LOST A FRANGIE PANGIE TREE (HAWAIIN TREE) THAT GOT UPROOTED IN THE FRONT LAWN AND THE SHED IN THE BACK YARD.  FOR THE FIRST TIME THROUGH ALL THE HURRICANES THAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH, I WAS AWAKE FOR THE WHOLE STORM.  IT WASN'T FUN OR EXCITING.  

IT WAS SCARY AND FRIGHTENING, KNOWING THAT AT ANY MOMENT WE COULD LOSE OUR ROOF AND BE WITHOUT A HOME.  

WE LOST POWER AROUND 3 PM AND IT WENT ON UNTIL MIDNIGHT WHEN WE FINALLY WENT TO BED AND WERE ABLE TO GET SOME SLEEP. LUCKILY ZOEY SLEPT THROUGH MOST OF IT.  

MY HUSBAND HAD SCRAP IN THE DRIVEWAY AND IN A TRAILER THAT WASN'T TIED DOWN AND NONE OF IT GOT BLOWN AWAY, NOT ONE PIECE!!! I PRAYED TO GOD ALL DAY AND NIGHT BECAUSE I WAS AFRAID THAT IT WOULD, AND NOT ONE METAL PIECE, MOVED!! WE HAD WIND GUSTS UP TO 80MPH AND THE FRONT DOOR WAS JARRING AND I DON'T KNOW HOW NONE OF THE METAL SCRAP GOT MOVED OR THROWN AROUND, BUT BY THE GRACE OF GOD!! HE WAS WATCHING OVER US AND PROTECTING US!! THIS IS PROOF THAT GOD IS REAL!!! WE TRULY ARE BLESSED.  WE TRULY ARE.  

ALSO WITH THIS HURRICANE, WHERE WE LIVE, WE WERE RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF THE EYE OF THE STORM (THATS THE STRONGEST PART OF IT) WE RODE THE EYE OF THE STORM THROUGH THE WHOLE THING. ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE HURRICANE, AS IT KEPT MOVING EASTWARD, THE EYE WAS RIGHT THERE ON THE EDGE OF OUR COUNTY. 

IF WE HAD GOTTEN THE EYE OF THE STORM IT WOULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE AS IT CAME ON SHORE AT ALMOST A CAT 5 STORM.  

OUR ROOF HAS HELD UP FOR 5 HURRICANES NOW AND WE NEED TO HAVE IT REPLACED.  ALSO THE MAIN ELECTRICAL WIRE THAT HAS BEEN SITTING ON OUR HOUSE FOR THE LAST 3 YRS WAS REPAIRED BY DUKE ENERGY WHEN THE RESTORED THE POWER WITHIN 3 DAYS.  SOME GUYS WENT UP ON THE ROOF AND TIGHTENED IT AND GOT IT SO THAT IT WASN'T LAYING ON THE ROOF ANYMORE.

GOD AND SATAN HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR YEARS AND YEARS.  THE RAINBOW IS A SIGN TO MAN ABOUT HIS PROMISE TO NEVER FLOOD THE EARTH AGAIN   HE DID SO IN NOAH'S DAY BECAUSE OF ALL THE EVIL INSIDE PEOPLE AND HE WAS TRYING TO STOP IT.

Why is pride so sinful? Pride is giving ourselves the credit for something that God has accomplished. Pride is taking the glory that belongs to God alone and keeping it for ourselves.

 Pride is essentially self-worship. Anything we accomplish in this world would not have been possible were it not for God enabling and sustaining us.
